Where is the club?

Kansas City Tattoo Club is nestled in the heart of the Crossroads, surrounded by some of the best art, food, and culture in KC. We’re a private, appointment-only studio, so make sure to book with your artist before heading in. Need directions? Just plug us into your maps and we’ll be waiting to create something unforgettable with you.

Healing Process

If your artist has given you a derm shield, keep it on for 3-4 days. Remove it by rolling it off in the shower and wash thoroughly and apply a thin layer of lotion. If you do not have a derm shield, wash your tattoo with unscented hand soap 3-5 times a day and apply a thin layer of unscented lotion ONLY after washing. Do this for about a week or two and it should heal up just fine! Remember not to submerge your tattoo in water or brush it up against dirty surfaces, treat it like the open wound that it is! Remember, the better you take care of your tattoo, the better it will look long term.

FAQ

Where should I park?

We have a big lot across the street next to Town Topic that is very cheap for a full day of parking. There is also street parking for free around the Crossroads.

How should I prepare?

In the days leading up to your tattoo appointment, make sure to hydrate! Have a nice breakfast before your tattoo and bring something to do! Tattoos can take a long time, it's easy to get bored. We also recommend bringing a hoodie, pillow, or any other comfort items.

How much will the tattoo cost?

Price depends on the design, artist, and length of session. For that reason, tattoos can be anywhere from $200-$1500 per session! We suggest consulting with your artist about price before booking a tattoo.

Will the tattoo hurt?

Yes! But in the best possible way. Your brain releases endorphins when you go through pain and your body loves endorphins, so yes, it hurts, but you might kinda like it.

When does the club open?

Kansas City Tattoo Club opens at 10 AM. Since we are a private, appointment only shop, our hours can fluctuate depending on how long our appointments take us.

What forms of payment are accepted?

Cash is king. Some of our artists accept Venmo, Cashapp, etc. and a couple of the artists accept card payments, although I would check if this is okay with your artist before your appointment. As previously mentioned, Cash will always be our preferred method of payment.

How do I join the club?

Getting tattooed by one of our artists gets you into the club. At your first appointment you will receive a club invitation package as well as your very own club card. Welcome to the Kansas City Tattoo Club. To find more information on that, visit the club page.
